Day 1: The Journey Begins 🚍♴️

We took a Hanif bus in the early hours of morning to travel from Dhaka to Teknaf. Sights of hills and green fields near Chattogram flew past our view but we kept our noses pressed to the window glass and our eyes trained on the scenery outside. On arrival at Teknaf, we took a boat to Saint Martin. The vast blue waters and the soft crashing of the waves made me feel like I had stepped into another universe.
After two days, we landed at Saint Martin, where we checked into our hotel, ate a delicious local lunch. And the fresh seafood, especially grilled fish, was sublime. 🌟 We walked on the sandy beach in the afternoon. The sun settled in a sea of orange, red and blue. 🌅 We concluded the day ascending chairs upon the beach, trading tales under the starlit sky. ✨
Finding Chera Dwip On Day Two 🏝️

The next morning, we rode to a small, secluded island — Chera Dwip — near Saint Martin. The boat ride itself was so thrilling with the giant blue ocean in the background. 🌊 The first thing we saw upon arrival Chera Dwip was an untouched beach and sparkling water.

We absorbed the beauty of the island, lounged and swam for hours. Then we purchased a few knickknacks from the natives, drank some fresh coconut water 🥥 as the palm trees provided a bit of shade. Back at our hotel, we spent the evening feasting on delicious grilled lobsters, prawns and more seafood delights. 🍤🔥

Day 3: Adieu With A Heavy Heart ☀️🌅

On the last day, I got up quite early to see the sunrise. It was magical to watch the first rays of sun light reflect on the placid ocean. 🌄 After breakfast, we wandered the local market picking up dried fish and local handicrafts to take home.

It wasn’t easy to leave Saint Martin. The combination of peaceful surroundings, welcoming people and stunning sights touched my heart.

How Did It Feel? 💖

Saint Martin is a real-life piece of paradise. It felt like a dream with all the waves crashing on the beautiful beaches and being surrounded by coconut trees. The tranquility was a welcome respite from the hustle of the city🍃💙

I would absolutely recommend this three-day trip that got me closer to nature and to feel the tranquility I will carry with me for the rest of my life. I still think about the special ones that I spent there. 🥰
